It's that time of the year to freshen up the flock with some new chicks. What have you folks added to your collection recently? Very cool... Added a recent quail hatch  And a breeder trio...Beveren rabbits. Only 10 weeks old so won't be able to breed until summer.  ____________ Pace | |||

After 8 years of purchasing the "left over" farm store chicks for 25 cents a piece, Charlie Did a head count of 85 chickens. He sells his eggs at $3.00 per dozen. They are Jumbo Pharaoh Coturnix. They'll top out at about 16 ozs. in 10 weeks. They'll start laying at about 6-7 weeks. Usually butcher at about 8 weeks @ 14-15 ozs. ____________ Pace | |||
