We will probably never know what happened. What is being said , is what the prosecutor told the court to convince the court. Was the guy pointing his pistol at the terrorist? Isn’t that what we want? Killing bad guys was his job. And I’m ok with his actions....it’s a war. The Lt wasn’t out raping and pillaging, he did go astray by taking a terrorist to another location and try and interrogate him- which tells me all I need to know. That a LT knew the system was broken and he wouldn’t be able to find out where or who was killing his men, such that he took the bad guy elsewhere and in that Q&A had to kill the guy cause it went sideways. Fuck him, he was a terrorist. And I’m glad the LT has been pardoned. "Violence, naked force, has settled more issues in history than has any other factor.” Robert A. When we start seeing war crime cases being prosecuted in islamic counties and people being beheaded and burned alive for committing them, (not heresy or apostasy) then I’ll start to think we should be going after our own for the same or much, much less, as in this case. ______________________________________________ “There are plenty of good reasons for fighting, but no good reason ever to hate without reservation, to imagine that God Almighty Himself hates with you, too.” | |||
