Uh huh. Roll Eyes Maybe it's just the slant of the leftist press, but:

COBB COUNTY, Ga. - A teen accused of impersonating a law enforcement official earlier this summer has been arrested again for allegedly doing the same thing again.

In July, 17-year-old Samuel Mallard was accused of impersonating a Cobb County police officer.

Police say Mallard likely had a fake gun but had a real -- but unauthorized -- Cobb County police vest he likely got through a family member who did some work for Cobb police as a vendor.

nvestigators said on Sunday, Mallard knocked on a family's door and told them he was a U.S. Marshal.

"He had everything that would make him appear to somebody who wasn't in the job that he was a police officer of law enforcement," said Cobb County Police Department spokesperson Sarah O'Hara.

Cobb County police say they have arrested Mallard six times since he was 11-years-old.

Police said they're planning to find a new way to help the teenager.

I have NEVER met another officer with a silly ass hairdo like that. That should have been sign number one. Also, no cop is going to knock on your door at 5am...unless it is with a ram, and he won’t be alone. I would have told him to hang on a second while I put something on while I was dialing 911.

He should be “helped” into a juvenile detention center, and when he commits such stupidity as an adult, into a real jail. Maybe he can try his hand at impersonating a ward of the state.

Marine corps or jail time. How's that for a "new way"?

Hedley Lamarr: Wait, wait, wait. I'm unarmed.
Bart: Alright, we'll settle this like men, with our fists.
Hedley Lamarr: Sorry, I just remembered . . . I am armed.

Dangerous game he's playing but most likely mental or low cognition or some such and little to no supervision.
Question is what is he doing when he's doing this? Is he trying to rob / rape commit a crime or is he stuck at 5 years old in the head and thinks he's a cop?

I think some people want to think they are something they are not and get off on doing it. We had a fire explorer do this many times. He had a scanner and would show up on mva scenes in full gear and tried to blend in with the other guys. When that failed, he would dress up like a cop and would pull people over in his Mitsubishi Eclipse. He had a red dash light and hooked up a siren to his car. He would pull people over, give them warnings about road safety and would let them go. The last time he did it he pulled over a real cop. He was given numerous chances and each one failed until he went to jail. Your life choices have consequences and like this punk, jail should be the punishment not more chances.

Send him to me. I'll come up with something appropriate to change his ways. If he is sent my way, I hope he comes with adequate medical supplies for post treatment trauma. Smile

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

As I said, that may be spin by the leftist press. Notice that there is no actual quote- simply "police say..."

It seems to me that the police do not take kindly to police impersonators and this little shit has been caught at it twice, so it's difficult to accept that the police want to adopt the little bastard.
