Anyone else going or has gone? My son (9yo) is obsessed with cryptids, and this one is his favorite. He even sat through the entire yawn-fest Richard Gere movie.

Soooo...we are heading out to Point Pleasant, WV for the weekend in September to attend. His 12yo sister is coming, too. They both seem very excited about it. I'm hoping it will be a fun weekend that they will remember for a long time. I'm sure it's going to be a lot of commercialized BS, but as long as they have fun and get to check this off their kiddie bucket lists...

There are worse things for a kid that age. Might be a fun trip.

Interesting.

I didn't think the the RG movie was that bad, but I went into w/ low expectations back during Netflix rental DVDs.

Just stay of that bridge.

If I had the time and resources, I would totally take my younger Son to the Mothman festival.

I’ve never personally attended the festival but live nearby. It seems pretty popular and fun for most folks. Have fun! If you have any questions feel free to reach out.

About 1/2 hour north of me. Mothman is a good time.
Pt. Pleasant Gun Club has a Mothman trap tournament about that time, as well, if you like shotguns.
