Bought an economical HP Chromebook from Best Buy about two weeks ago. It has the 11 in screen and was on sale for $149, usually $214. I usually rely on my Samsung tablet but thought it would be nice to have something with a keypad. Pretty much all I do is cruise the net and read e-mails so I figured it would suffice. The issue I find annoying is that everything on the screen has a bluish tint or background. Screen is not overly bright. I could get by the brightness issue but the blue tint is annoying. Is there a setting change somewhere or do I return this thing?

Go to settings, in the device sections select display. Try adjusting the Color Temperature and see if that helps

My HP Chromebook did not have the blue tint. These things are often related to poor connections. I would return for replacement.

My daughter is getting one for Christmas so I’ll keep an eye out for this. Been curious how it works for her.
