"all of them" The next member who posts this non-answer to my question in this thread is going to regret it. Fair warning. Enough with this shit. That is not an answer to my question. My question assumes that you do listen to some political pundits.

when they are on tv I tune in , in hopes of being enlightened in some way , in hopes of seeing someone that I can understand and actually approve of some one. I guess I don't not understand politics in the least . the first time they start pointing at everyone else and blaming I just flip the channels . when someone shows up to the job with a 23 volume set of three ring binders that map out how his plan will work, I might just follow him a bit , to see what he intends on doing Safety, Situational Awareness and proficiency. Judge Napolitano. I once used to listen to him for his judicial opinions, but a year and a half or so ago he went off the rails. He said several times on air that if Hillary was not indicted, there would be a mass resignation of FBI agents. He knew many of them well, and they assured him that it would be a huge protest. Nothing happened. Around that time he started criticising Trump, and it just got worse and worse. The president explained that Napolitano wanted to be AG when Barr was appointed, and he was bitter, resentful and vengeful ever since. A small man, ambitious in the worst ways, and filled with resentment. I switch the channel whenever he appears on Fox. (By the way, whenever the news gets to be just too much-- which happens often-- my go to is "Curb Your Enthusiasm" on Amazon Prime. Genius, laugh-out-loud comedy, it makes a great antidote.) ______________________________________________________ "You get much farther with a kind word and a gun than with a kind word alone."

I will say this: I can’t watch Laura Ingraham anymore. The way she constantly interrupts, talks over, and cuts everyone short actively irritates me. She acts like nobody in her life has ever hit her with a brusque “Excuse me! I was speaking!” ______________________________________________ Carthago delenda est

I don't watch much TV news. I get my news via talk radio or online. Aside from the usual suspects that people have mentioned, one commentator that I used to enjoy reading but who has become unbearable and highly predictable in the Age of Trump is Allahpundit on Hotair.com. Used to enjoy reading him, but he has become slightly Trump-deranged and it has affected his work dramatically. Honorable mention for the insufferable "conservatives" Jen Rubin, David French, David Brooks and Max Boot. I don't think they were ever really conservatives, but they pretend to be so that their employers can pretend not to be biased. To put a positive spin on the OPs original question, this era of fake and hyperpartisan news has allowed certain other lights to shine through as always worth reading for quality information. There is still real journalism being done. Too many to list, but guys like John Hindraker and Scott Johnson at Powerline and Andrew McCarthy pop into my mind. Can always count on them for intelligent, rational discussion of issues from a conservative perspective.

napalitano is a former new jersey superior court judge. No federal experience. Then a former talk show host. He writes analyst opinions for a few newspapers. He was being considered for SCOTUS by the President but got passed over for Justice Kavanaugh. No doubt he has bias and resentment. Graham Ledger is the host of the Daily Ledger. While he comes across as 'pompous' to some, he knows the US Constitution. He keeps a copy next to him. Show me anyone else in the media who does that these days. If only the rest of the media know it all asses knew the US Constitution, they may realize how lopsided the pencil neck schiff inquiry has been.

Yeah, Judge Sour Grapes- just like Juan Williams- is part of the left, not the right. The difference is that despite his views, Juan Williams seems like a nice guy. When you watch him on The Five, the banter with his political opposites is usually good-natured. If you met him in a hotel or a restaurant, I think you might find the exchange cordial. Judge Sour Grapes, on the other hand, hates President Trump with a passion. Juan Williams wasn't passed over for a seat on the highest court in the land, but Judge Sour Grapes was, and he will never live it down or let it go. ____________________________________________________ "I am your retribution." - Donald Trump, speech at CPAC, March 4, 2023

Rove is right there for myself. And I get fund raising emails "addressed" from him. Some blabber about this is Karl Rove and please donate. I am like this is the wrong f'n name to be using to ask me for donations. Click it as junk email. I used to really like Levin and read his books (his knowledge of the Constitution.) When he went railing on Trump I stopped listening, I was very disappointed in him. He seems to have recovered some, but for someone that thinks he is so smart he really blew that one. The slate of Never Trumpers have helped me to move away from canned news shows and things are much better. Donald Trump is not a politician, he is a leader, politicians are a dime a dozen, leaders are priceless.

Para, now that you mention it, even though I completely disagree with him, I’ve always had the impression that Juan Williams was a decent sort of guy. You used the word “cordial,” which gets right to the heart of the matter. I don’t like his politics, but as a person, I find him nowhere near as offputting as some of the other names posted in this thread. ______________________________________________ Carthago delenda est

Recovered some? Dude, Levin is one of Trump's biggest cheerleaders now. He vigourously defends this President from the left nearly every single day. I'm sure like many, he was skeptical of Trump leading as a conservative and a traditionalist when he was on the campaign trail, but now that he's actually seen Trump's actions against the left and those who wish to tear down this country and destroy the Constitution, he's a full supporter of the President. ~Alan Acta Non Verba NRA Life Member (Patron) God, Family, Guns, Country Men will fight and die to protect women... because women protect everything else. ~Andrew Klavan

I like Liz Wheeler. She's definitely enthusiastic! "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

Levin is more than a pundit. He is someone whose advice the president will actually follow and listen to... sort of like William F Buckley to Ronald Reagan. "Some things are apparent. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. And she always has proof of whatever conservative point she's trying to impart. While I don't care for some of the liberal guests she invites, at least she attempts to show counter points.

This is a general failing of pundits who think it’s all about them, not the information being provided. Laura does it, Hannity does it to the point of being pretty much unwatchable. I’ve e-mailed Fox News about Hannity doing this. There are some really good interviewers out there: Hugh Hewitt is definitely one; Mark Levin on his TV show is another. _________________________ “Remember, remember the fifth of November!"

I'll listen to internet radio first thing in the morning and there was a time Ingraham had a great show. With producer Lee Habeeb, she had a genuinely funny and tight product. Habeeb left to carve his own niche, Ingraham got cancer and it all went in the toilet. She's an inside-the-Beltway creature and was too willing to cut slack. She could have the most heinous lefty on and, no matter how bad they were, LI would temper every one of them with "But he's a great guy". I gave up on her. Now in these hyper partisan times, I find her Fox News show digestible if not must-see. She's still grating in many ways but she's on our side and I'll take that. Set the controls for the heart of the Sun.

Mark Levin is my favorite. He called the impeachment of President Trump as soon as he was elected. He is also a constitutional lawyer and worked in the Reagan administration as chief of staff for AG Edwin Meese and yes he is a huge supported of President Trump though does not agree with him all then time for sure. President Trump has called into the Mark Levin Show at least a few times. I don't listen to his whole show all the time but usually at least the first hour.

Chris Plante. He repeats himself and talks in circles. We had a local guy that went to TV and they started syndicating Plante from 10-noon!
