Last year I bought a used Giant Anthem full suspension cross country mountain bike. While cleaning it one day I discovered its lower suspension link had a crack going 1/2 way across the link. I called every Giant vendor in my area and looked online but no one had the part I needed. After a substantial amount of internet searching I found a large Giant part retailer in the U.K. that claimed they could order the part I needed and get it in 1-3 weeks. I emailed them and they told me an affiliate of theirs in the Netherlands had the part in stock and would have to send it to them in the UK and then they would send it to me. For $99 + shipping I figured why not. The part supplier was legit (I researched them of course) and I figured the 3-4 week waiting window I was quoted was optimistic. I paid a little extra to have DHL ship it and started the waiting game. For about a month or two I didn’t hear anything other than a brief email apologizing for the delay thus far. Then more weeks pass and out of the blue I get a DHL shipping notification! ![]() ![]() I am going to be wrenching a bit and then riding this today!!!! ![]() ![]() ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The price of liberty and even of common humanity is eternal vigilance

Fantastic bike company headquartered in my wife's hometown of Taichung. I used to drive by their HQ on the way to work every day. Glad to hear they took care of you. I've bought a lot of bike parts, especially tires, from retailers in the UK. They have different MAP pricing rules over there and can typically undercut US based retailers prices on the same products. It doesn't make the bike industry here very happy, but such is the state of the wild wild west of internet retailing these days.
