I don't want to derail another toaster thread active right now.
Is there a toaster being made today that will toast both sides of bread evenly?

Full disclosure- I have been described as being "Particular".

The vast majority of toasters, even high priced models from European sounding companies, are made in China. After a fair amount of online research we got a Kitchen Aid 4 slot from Sam's Club that was favorably reviewed. Unfortunately it does NOT toast evenly- not terrible, but definitely a noticeable difference.

I bought this Breville almost five years ago and have been completely satisfied with it. I almost never use my stove's oven.

It's a little spendy, but you won't regret it.

I've had a Cuisinart CPT-640 for a couple years and we are very happy with it.

I have the same one. Well worth the money and counter space. Regular oven rarely gets used other than to store cast iron cookware.

we have a kitchen aid toaster https://www.amazon.com/Kitchen...r/dp/B00Y2KFX56?th=1

you can get em for 79 bucks. great toaster. nice even toast. doesn't really toast dark enough though so you need to push the toast in a little longer if you like it dark toast.
