Min-Chin-Chu-Ru... Speed with Glare |
Recently there was a thread on customer frustration over not being able to stream HBO MAX on Roku or Firestick devices. For those with Roku devices and either iPhones or iPads: check your Roku updates (go to Settings) to see if you have updated to 9-series updates. (Recent model Rokus should support this.) You can also update manually. Once you do, you can "Airplay" HBO Max via your apple device to the Roku. When you open the HBO Max app on your iPhone or iPad and play your selection, you'll see a little icon at the top of your screen. Simply tap it and whatever you're streaming will appear on your TV via the Roku. We watched a movie this way last night with no discernable lack of quality vs. watching content directly via the Roku. The only downside is you will likely need to keep your iPhone or iPad plugged in as the battery will drain quickly. https://www.cordcuttersnews.co...59bff7a2cfaa5c668bdc

fwiw, you can also sideload HBO Max onto FireTV devices. I'm gonna vote for the funniest frog with the loudest croak on the highest log.

It was time to upgrade; could have lasted a little bit longer but the device was getting a old and sluggish. I moved to Apple device. Weird remote but generally happy so far. None of the big corp antics yet. "Wrong does not cease to be wrong because the majority share in it." L.Tolstoy "A government is just a body of people, usually, notably, ungoverned."
