Apparently this group feels arson an assaulting or attempting to murder police is a better tactic.

Mayor Keisha Lance (Rock) Bottoms welcomed this antifa rabble into the city and now Mayor Do-Nothing Dickens is perpetuating it.

Governor Kemp is going to crack down hard on these outsiders as they already shot one state trooper.

Violent protesters should be met with the violence they ask for. Anyone holding a Molotov cocktail should be shot on sight. Period. Same goes for anyone discharging a firearm at a “protest”. Dead.

Even better if a sniper could hit the bottle while several of them are standing around it when it's first lit..... Why go after just one when you can wait until they group up and catch 2,3 or more on fire LOL

Of all the things that one might protest in any given area, this seems like an odd thing to protest with this level of aggression.

UPDATE - just found this. Apparently it's our old friends Antifa

Antifa are the military wing of the progressive democratic party. When the antifa engage in arson and rioting the elected democrats chant in unison "its only property damage."

It looks like Antifa is basically a group of protest / violence contractors. Are the 'fbi' boys that did the marches last year with the khaki pants and masks a similar group? What other protest groups exist to be used for political purposes?

I'm not familiar with that area or what is going on there. But it appears that Antifa pushed the police out of a fenced in construction area, and closed the gate. Didn't they lock themselves in and make themselves easy targets? Eventually they'll run out of things to through (other than rocks) and it seems like they are already corralled.

Seems to me if they are throwing gas bombs and shooting fireworks at police they've escalated to deadly force so use of any means necessary to apprehend them would be authorized.

In considering worst case scenarios which might happen in my neighborhood if SHTF. I've thought about the molotov cocktail guy and concluded I would shoot immediately. The time from lighting it to throwing it could be a fraction of a second, and of course it is a deadly weapon. Same with anyone discharging a firearm in the immediate area of my home.

I see no reason the police should have a different mindset when they are responding to a violent mob.

Attorney among 23 charged with domestic terrorism in Atlanta ‘Cop City’ attack

https://nypost.com/2023/03/06/...nta-cop-city-attack/

An attorney with the Southern Poverty Law Center is among the 23 protesters who have been charged with domestic terrorism after they allegedly hurled Molotov cocktails and fireworks at a future Atlanta police training facility, cops said Monday.

Thomas Webb Jurgens, 28, was one of the nearly two dozen people detained on Sunday in what police have described as a “coordinated attack” on the still-under-construction Atlanta Public Safety Training Center — dubbed “Cop City.”

Jurgens is a staff attorney with SPLC — the left-leaning, anti-hate group, according to the State Bar of Georgia and his since-deleted LinkedIn page.

Of the 23 people slapped with domestic terrorism charges over the violent protest, Jurgens and only one other man, Jack Beaman, hail from the state of Georgia.

Police said the majority of those arrested are from other parts of the US — as well as France and Canada.

Back in the day I used to hate the Daley machine in Chicago.
Now, I have to give credit to the "old man" for his no-nonsense approach to law and order.
