And a petition to impeach the Governor for treason. The charge of treason is because the Governor removed National Guard from the border, along with National Guard units from other states that were here to help.

flashguyAlthough I applaud the Sheriffs who are doing that, I deplore the necessity for it.

Ah. A Lunas guy.

I'm going to have to keep an eye on these crap measures attempting to go through the blue machine in Santa Fe.

k5blazerBernallio, Santa Fe, and Dona Ana counties are deep blue. MLG is going to sign the gun bills that get to her desk. Nice that the twelve counties are declaring themselves as sanctuaries. The new Dona Ana sheriff took her ball and went home saying there was no logical discussion with the other sheriffs. I fear for gun rights in New Mexico. I was born in Valencia county.

shovelheadI heard from a friend in Socorro County where I lived from 79-88 that there is a recall petition circulating. And Socorro was a sanctuary county also.
Good luck to my cumpas there.

SIG228Several counties in Oregon did it last fall (nine I think), but it's mostly fluff. No way in hell any of these sheriff's are going to war with the state or feds.
