40ish SoCal teenagers chose to beat 3 Marines, and did it about 23 miles from Camp Pendleton. They say most people aren't able to consider the consequence of their actions until age 25. I suspect this weekend some teens are going to learn a life lesson about consequences of action.

I bet the Marines got their licks in. My guess is the OCS will do what he say's. I sure hope so. "Practice like you want to play in the game"

One thing’s certain. If OCSD ID’s any suspects and files a complaint, DA Spitzer will prosecute.

Most communities around bases have problems with groups of teens/youth trying to fight young service members, Orange County, which is north of Camp Pendleton is no different. Orange County beaches are also magnets for all the shit-heads from the over-heated inland areas, not sure if these are 909ers or entitled local brats attempting to emulate the youth in Chicago. Huntington Beach was always the worst, lot of shit-heads out of Anaheim, Santa Ana and Orange.

Simple solution, one of the replies to the article.. Close it until they arrest and convict, then jail the attackers. rodferg 5 hours ago Many many years ago when I was in the Marine Corps, Marines were being attacked out in Jacksonville. When the local authorities didn't actually do anything, the base Commander solved the problem. He closed the base. Nobody on or off. After a week, the locals were screaming at their leaders. It seems people don't understand how much money a military base puts into the local economy.
