Any issues with Discover card being accepted?

Does anyone know what happens when you have a paypal refund started when you're credit card is out of commission / cancelled, awaiting your new card?

Do they refund it to your new card later after you update it?

Antiquated and least optimal way to use a Debit Card. Setup your debit card in Google Pay or Apple Pay, and your card number is always secure given both of these payment options generate a unique number in place of your card number for each transaction, which is also protected behind encryption. I have both my DC and primary CC setup in Google Pay and switch between them as I want to make purchases.
Unless you need your debit card for ATM cash withdrawals, you can just leave the card at home.

There are about 20 reasons not to use a debit card traveling. Probably the best reasons to always use a CC over a debit card traveling is for the ability to challenge charges and the myriad of reward options you generate with a CC. But make no mistake, if your CC is compromised while you're traveling, and the issuer has to suspend your current card and send you a new one, you're in a world of hurt if you don't have another CC to fall back on.
