Looking to organize my tool box. Found a socket tray I like from a company called Monster tools. Snap-on also offers a similar product, but at the usual markup. Basically, its a Mechanics Time Saver 5 row twist lock tray, just powder coated in a loud lime green (not offered by MTS). Apparently the only way to order one is from a local tool truck. I am not a professional mechanic, and have no access to a local tool truck. So, figured I would try here. No luck on Amazon or anywhere else so far. MTS tray is about $45, Snap-on is $97. I am willing to pay extra for the color I want, but not that much. For $100 I'll go with the Westling Machine offering. Here A Perpetual Disappointment...

Stop at an automotive shop and ask them for the local tool truck guys phone number. Most of the tool truck guys will sell to most anyone usually. TRY EBAY. Lots of them on there in the color you want. Not sure exactly which one you want but here's a link https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.htm...+tray+green&_sacat=0

Talked to a couple mechanic buddies. Only tool guy local to me is the Snap-on guy. And of course, he only handles snap on tools. Doesn't even carry JH Williams (Snap-on Industrial brand). His comparable tray is $97. Well, hell... Ordered a set from Westling Machine, anodized & engraved aluminum in neon green. A Perpetual Disappointment...

I beleive our USA Tools guy carries Monster brand stuff. I'll check with him when he comes this week. I can buy it and ship it to you if he has what you want. If he does not have it in stock do you want me to have him order it? Appreciate the offer. Right now I'm gonna go with the Westling Machine products I mentioned above, til I get everything organized and see what's left over and how much more I will need. These things look really good, as long as you don't need to move whole sets of sockets from box to box as they have no retention. Mine are staying in my main box or a small tool cart, so should work well. A Perpetual Disappointment...
