Anybody with half a brain (which lets out most gun grabbers) already knows this. Anybody carrying guns for unlawful purposes and inclined to violence was already carrying anyway. They said the same shit when states started adopting "shall-issue" permits. I don't know of any state that adopted Constitutional carry having any increase in crime.

BTW, missy, it's not "'several' states," it's a majority of states. I think OH puts it to 29 states.

Everywhere constitutional carry has been enacted, crime has decreased and without blood filling the gutters as predicted by leftist democrat trash. It lends credence to the old adage “an armed society is a polite society”. They HATE it.

Only people with 1/2 a brain or less think Constitutional carry will increase crime.

Criminals have always carried. Constitutional carry only affects people that follow the law.

I still recently renewed my Ohio concealed carry in case I travel out of state.
The pretty young lady at the county office said most people renewing did so for
the same reason.
What are the ramifications if I'm stopped in another state and my carry permit
has expired? Don't other states only recognize valid carry permits?

Oddly enough, Victorian society was considered the most polite with lower crime rates than modern society. A lot of that had to do with two things:
- Almost everyone was armed in one way or another.
- The mere act of insulting someone could get you killed and society's opinion was you had it coming.

This was an interesting study. Pre and Post Outcomes: Ohio's Permitless Carry Law

Results are actually a little mixed. Gun crime went up in Cincinnati and Dayton, but down almost everywhere else. One thing I think you can conclude is that it didn't result in the Wild West, at least not yet. The law only changed in June of 2022, so it might be a bit early to arrive at dramatic conclusions. My feeling is the majority of folks carrying likely already had a permit. It's still a little early to make too many predictions, but overall, this is a positive sign.

He may not like it--probably doesn't; I don't--but he knows it's so, and knowing is the first step in coping with it."

Gun related crime in Ohio is down. Is this because fewer people are now charged with illegally carrying because carrying is no longer illegal? Or are fewer crimes actually being committed with a gun?

In the states with open carry, how many gun grabs have there been?

Think in most of the other constitutional carry states (half the country now), they give out of state citizens the same carry rights as their own in-state citizens. So you’ll mainly just have to worry about the states that still require permits if yours has expired.
