Always looking for an excuse to introduce my iPhone 12Pro to Mr. Hammer.
Today, i wanted to delete a few folders from my music library. I use VLC as media player.
Tried to move stuff around but the FM would freeze time and again. Rebooted the phone several times, no joy.
Then i started reading this is a common problem with iOS 17.
Eventually i found a solution. It’s the backround refresh that was screwing things up. I only had it enabled (by default) on a few apps i hardly use.
Disabled all of them and my phone is usable again. Going back to hating each other.

Waiting for Samsung’s S24 to arrive so i can bail out of Apple’s ecometascrewyouversesystem whatchamacallit weirdo logic.
