I guess my first thought was the street people, the culture that flourishes on San Francisco's liberal policies.
I have posted before, we have somewhat liberal friends in Silicon Valley who moved to San Francisco to enjoy the celebrated lifestyle there. Less than two years later they moved back, said SF was becoming a cesspool.

I am surprised that we don't see more organized protests in front of the homes of those that created this mess - our Congress Critters. This would be more impactful than burning and looting small businesses and entire city blocks.

But most congress critters live in secured facilities, have hired guns to protect them and their property, many small businesses don't.

Can you name some of them? The Speaker of the House and the Senate Majority Leader do not.
I'm not saying you're wrong, but in these cases the residences of two top people were not guarded .

^^^^^^^ Yeah it is not Congress, but Alderman Burke has had his own police detail for years. I also believe Mayor Lightfoot has her street blocked off. (Chicago for those not in the know}.

My understanding is that (at least in CA) members of Congress have security protection available to them at their request (not necessarily protection for their property when they are elsewhere). I guess I have read a variety of tidbits re Pelosi's security when she is actually in her district in San Francisco.
