Not Bridge Day, but I have been to that bridge. You can stack the Washington Monument and the Statue of Liberty under it, one atop the other, and there is still room to spare. If you just drive across the span you won't see anything. Pull into the visitor center on the north side and take a series of staircases down the side for a better view.

Not bridge day but while there we drove the switch backs down to the old bridge it replaced and walked out on it and took pics looking up at the new bridge from close to the water.

Oh yes. For anyone traveling Rt 19 there if you have 45 minutes or so to spare do pull in the visitor center which is on the north end of the bridge and as egregore mentioned take the old road down cross the bridge and up the other side.
No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.
Never made Bridge Day, but had a construction project in the area about ten or fifteen years ago. Rented a cottage for the summer just off Lansing-Edmond Road that, when the leaves started dropping, overlooked The Overlook and The Bridge. We usually ended up with a yard full of rafters camping (we'd let them run extension cords from the cottage).
The locals from the Fayetteville/Oak Hill area were some of the nicest folks I've ever met. As one of the very early developers of the rafting business in the area told me, "Tourists are the price we pay for money."

Been under it white water rafting. Does that count?

The key to enforcement is to punish the violator, not an inanimate object. The punishment of inanimate objects for the commission of a crime or carelessness is an affront to stupidity.

Have rafted the river a couple times, but have never made it to Bridge Day. If there were more opportunities for base jumping in my area, back in my younger days, I think I would have chose it over skydiving.
