Between the manual choke and manual transmission, nobody I knew could drive it. Tuned properly, you didn't hardly hear the engine running and it never failed to start in the winter. I think there were four hoses and maybe 8 wires in the engine compartment.

Jimbo541954 Chevy Belair 4 door for $50. I only had it a few months before buying a '52' Chevy 2 door coupe painted Robin Egg Blue with chrome baby moon hub caps. That was a sweet car.

I got it free; however, it needed an engine, which I paid $100 for at a junkyard. All told I got it on the road for about $200. It ran fine until my heroin addicted sister took it without my permission and totalled it.

Z06'64 Pontiac Tempest LeMans. 215 c.i. straight six with "three in the tree".
Drag raced it in L Stock. The only car it couldn't beat was a certain Corvair.
