drill sgtAnne Heche dies after crash
Not really feeling sorry for her because she did this to herself by her selfish personal actions.. Am sure that she has been on this downward spiral path for some time.... You can lead a horse to water but until he wants to he will not drink... Same goes for persons who use and abuse both legal and illegal drugs.. Until they are ready to clean up then these events will continue........ Do feel sorry for the person/family who had their home destroyed by the car wreck....BUT.. Wait for it when the drivers insurance company refuses to pay up because of the illegal actions of the driver.............. drill sgt.

Sounds like getting Anne to drink was the exact opposite of the problem here.

Balzé HalzéI thought I read where the homeowner already received over $100,000 from a gofundme for all of this. I'm sure she has more coming. And frankly she deserves it.

BeancookerSo another drunk driver died. Too bad you ruined someone’s home.
I hope like hell their homeowners insurance collected every dime possible from this POS’s “estate”.

IronbuttI never heard of her before this, but my wife said she was one of Ellen Degenerate's old girlfriends, boyfriends?, or whatever the hell they call themselves.
Oh well. Another Hollywood drunk/druggie bites the dust.

darthfusterI know very little about her. It appears she was out of control and had the means to destroy herself. I'm sure she had people who loved her. I'm sad for them. I hope they can find peace. Hopefully her lifestyle prevented dependent children.

gearhoundsI don’t think I could care any less about this drunken, drug addled moron. Good riddance- it’s a shame she couldn’t have just plowed into a center divider or similar immovable object so that she was the only person or property affected by her chemical dependency.

PatriotA troubled person with demons for sure.
I hope her soul finds peace.
I pray for the hurt people left behind.

Eh. Not really any worse than any other drug abuse, including alcohol.

It's a reference to a Rick James quote from a bit on Chappelle's Show.

c1steveI had read that her father molested her and had sex with her. Typically persons who I know have been through that have serious problems. Some become lesbians, some become trannys, and some simply have major guilt and shame issues for the remainder of their lives.
She may be another narcissistic Hollywood personality, but she had a rough start in life.

SIGnifiedI hold people accountable for their behaviors. Not their addictions/disease.
Lots of sober jerks out there as well

parabellumSexual orientation is determined in the womb. When did you decide to become a heterosexual?
It just doesn't work that way.
Countless children have been abused, both physically and mentally. Looking for excuses/reasons for a person's sexual orientation is folly.
And calling one's sexual orientation a "lifestyle" is straight out of the last century. Sexuality is at the core of our being.

Still affects the first responders to some extent - especially when dealing with chemically impaired or suicides.

I don't agree that it is totally predetermined at birth (or before) but culture and social factors have a part.
Only recently did it become acceptable (to some) for all of this gender identity nonsense.
In reality we are men and women and are naturally made to be mated with each other.
Everything else is just a preference or delusion.
However, we should all be free to do what we choose.

SIGnifiedWell for all the abused women, I’m sure it fucks them up in ways unimaginable. Being forever conflicted about men could certainly be a reasonable outcome.
Ask Joe Biden’s daughter.

I used to think the same but where I work (advertising) for whatever reason there is a much higher percentage of gay people than the typical population so I’m around 30 or so gay people on a daily basis. I have heard different discussions about many different topics that have changed my mind on a few because of the discussions I hear amongst the people directly involved.
It seems like the majority feel they were born that way but there is also quite a few who think that an abusive upbringing and especially sexual abuse during their formative years has had an impact. The one thing I also noticed in these discussions is that maybe 10% of them have a good relationship with both parents.
