A California man carrying at least one weapon near the Maryland home of Supreme Court Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh was arrested early Wednesday morning, according to news reports.
The suspect was taken into custody by police after telling officers he wanted to kill Kavanaugh, people familiar with the investigation told The Washington Post.
The man is described by the newspaper as in his mid-20s and carrying at least one weapon and burglary tools, the sources told the newspaper.
The incident follows the publication of a leaked Supreme Court draft opinion indicating the bench's conservative major, which includes Kavanaugh, is ready to rule on a case that would overturns Roe. v. Wade, the 49-year-old decision that guaranteed nationwide the constitutional right to have an abortion.

Someone didn’t get enough attention growing up and with the current media frenzy over the leaked draft and other recent events, this guy decided he wants his 15 minutes.

It' important that we protect members of the Supreme Court. But more importantly, it's important that we protect our liberty. The Supreme Court is not our last defense. YOU are.
Liberty rests on the Four Boxes of Liberty:
1. Soap Box gone....conservatives (i.e., Americans) are now banned from social media, legacy media, appearing on campus, etc.
2. Ballot Box gone....rigged elections, ballot harvesting, counting of invalid ballots, allowing illegal immigrants to vote, corrupt RINOs, etc.
3. Jury Box gone...we've seen that in DC and other blue areas, there is a two-tiered justice system that is used to crush conservatives.

All of the early reporting simply said weapon because I believe that is all the police initially released.

This guy is, ummm, strange. He called 911 to report himself.
At approximately 1:05 a.m. Wednesday, two U.S. Marshals saw an individual, later identified as Roske, dressed in black clothing and carrying a backpack and a suitcase, get out of a taxicab that had stopped in front of Kavanaugh’s Montgomery County home. The individual looked at the two marshals standing outside their parked vehicle and turned to walk down the street, the affidavit says.
Shortly after, the Montgomery County Emergency Communication Center fielded a call from Roske, who identified himself and told the call taker he "was having suicidal thoughts and had a firearm in his suitcase." Roske also told the call taker "he came from California to kill a specific United States Supreme Court Justice," the affidavit says.
