Yep, that was good and calming. Thank you. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

It's a pity that I have not seen a compilation of acts of animal kindness. There are articles out there but they are usually singled-out and rather uncommon. When I see one of those articles, they also elicit strong reactions. The emotional aspect is therefore probably dependent on the degree of anthropomorphization that we ascribe to it. Which in a sense is not fair to animals. They just do what comes naturally to them. Except for pistol shrimp. They are totally devoid of it. *************************** Knowing more by accident than on purpose.
