Me too. I have wide feet and need 4E in 11.5 to 12. The Rockports are a pretty decent looking dressy shoe.

I don't see it as a photo shoot for the cover of GQ. Clean and pressed clothes that fit, black or dark brown/dark maroon shoes (shined), neatly trimmed hair, if any, including facial hair, and no B.O. or bad breath.

Make sure your tie is tied to the right length.

Literally the worse impression is a tie that is tied too short or too long.

I can forgive cheap clothes or being out of style. Not everyone cares or can afford to look sharp.

However, not tying your tie properly is just lazy. You have a tie. You've tied it. But you can't be bothered to do it over to get it the right length. Worse impression ever.

I've always set it with the tip of the tie to be about where the center of the belt buckle is while standing straight up.
