ZSMICHAELTyson Foods CFO arrested, allegedly fell asleep in wrong home
Hmmmm. This is different.
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Tyson Foods’ chief financial officer John R. Tyson was arrested early Sunday morning after allegedly becoming intoxicated and falling asleep in the wrong home.

According to a preliminary arrest report, Tyson, 32, was found asleep around 2 a.m. in a woman’s bed at her home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. (Tyson’s headquarters is located about 10 miles away in Springdale.)
The woman called police when she found Tyson, whom she said she did not know.
She told dispatchers that she believes the front door was left unlocked and that is how he entered. When police arrived, they said they located Tyson in the back bedroom with his clothes in front of the bed. Officers identified him using his driver’s license.

Police said they tried to wake Tyson up and speak with him but he could not respond. After briefly sitting up, Tyson laid back down and tried to go to sleep, according to the arrest report.
The report stated officers found an odor of alcohol on his breath and body, and his movements appeared sluggish and uncoordinated.
Tyson was arrested on charges of criminal trespassing and public intoxication. He was booked into the Washington County Detention Center and was released Sunday evening.
John R. Tyson, son of board chairman John H. Tyson, was appointed to the CFO position at Tyson Foods on Oct. 2. He also serves as the company’s executive vice president.
A spokesman for the company said in a statement: “We’re aware of the incident and as this is a personal matter, we have no additional comment.”

SpinZoneTyson was arrested on charges of criminal trespassing and public intoxication.
How can it be criminal trespass and public intoxication? He was not in public, if he was in public then where does the criminal trespass come from?
And before someone points out that he had to be intoxicated in public to get there, thats an assumption.

erj_pilotI’d say as long as he wasn’t choking a chicken, he’s good to go.

architectHow can you be charged with public intoxication when you are arrested in a private home?
Wonder what they're serving for dinner tonight in the Fayetteville jail? Who's buying?

That right there is some amazing work, alcohol being an odorless liquid. We were schooled to report the odor on and alcoholic BEVERAGE.
Other than that, this guy is a lost cause and needs some serious professional help after he gets out of jail.

YooperSigsThe public part generally applies to any area not your actual home.
And... his chickens came home to the wrong roost.
And the "drunk in the wrong house" occurs quite a lot.

Pretty sure you need to confine that to YOUR home for that reasoning.

wishfull thinkerCurious about the 'public' part. I didn't find anything in Arkansas in my in-depth 40 second search but this might be advisory for states that still make drunkeness a crime.
"In Georgia, public intoxication is a class B misdemeanor. Public intoxication is defined as a person who shall be and appear in an intoxicated condition in any public place or within the curtilage of any private residence not his own other than by invitation of the owner or lawful occupant, which condition is made manifest by boisterousness, by indecent condition or act, or by vulgar, profane, loud, or unbecoming language"
Might be like this, just a guess. Basically it looks like in Georgia if you are drunk and an asshole you can go to jail. Maybe.
