I have a a pair of Faded Glory slip ons, as a matter of fact I'm wearing them as I type this, that I was given and I really like them. I was never a person who liked slip ons, however I must say that I find these to be very comfortable, I forget that I am wearing them and my feet don't hurt at the end of the day when I finally remove them.

Check out Oofos. You can find them on Amazon. I got them this week and my feet feel great compared to everything else I've tried.
I also have arthritis and my knees and ankle are doing better as well.

Get over it!!

Skechers and Nike make some very comfortable slip on gym shoes. I don't like the politics of Nike, as I suspect many of us here don't, but you have to do what you have to do for the sake of your health.

Red Wing makes a very comfortable pair of chelsea boots. You said you didn't mind spending so that meets that requirement, too:

Definitely the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever worn. But I do suggest going to the store to try them on in person. I also wear their work boots. Work boots I'm a size 9 yet the chelsea boots I wear a size 8.

The Oofos look interesting. I think I'll start with a pair of Skechers.
Soon after, I'll buy a pair of Allen Edmonds. They look very classy.
Thanks for all your replies!

These shoes (kizik) probably hired the same advertising firm as Purple mattress. I can't speak to quality. Keen is a another brand to consider maybe.

I use my running shoes as slip ons because once I have the lacing just right I do not want to touch it. All it takes to slip the shoes on is to use an ancient device called the Shoe Horn.

BTW, I have Arthritis in both thumbs and the radial head of both wrists. Had my nephews wife (a nurse now studying for a PA) tell me that Sugar is an inflammatory. It took me a while to get the message but this year I decided to cut back on Sugar and my Arthritis is much improved. So much that I can now rack the slide on a 45 ACP 1911 with the hammer down AND sign my paychecks without pain.

Big Tip Here is if you have Arthritis cut back on Sugar as much as you can. Bad news is it will take 3 to 6 months before you notice any results but after a full year you'll pass up donuts like they are Toxic.

I've stopped counting.
