Looks like we're getting this:

That kills any need or want I'll ever have for a Prodigy. I might get one over a Bul Armory even though I'd love to piss off all the Free Palpatine people.

Another DA/SA option on the market would certainly be welcome!

Waiting for news on the teased S&W Gen 3 having a model reintroduced, too. That's the main thing that kept me from putting my name in the hat at the LGS today for a Gen 6 arriving soon.

Anyone see anything interesting yet? PSA announced their line of modular guns. I’m very interested in the pistol release since it will take the Ruger RXM fcu.

PSA are releasing a modular chassis system at Shot Show 2026 called the MFC Modular Fire Control unit. The video below says its compatible with Ruger RXM grip modules. They are releasing their own PSA grip modules. Their modular chassis is compatible with Glock mags, Sig P320 mags, and also releasing a Micro that is compatible with G43X/Micro Dagger mags. Way to go PSA.

If you are not a fan of the Magpul grip modules, you should be able to get PSA and metal grip modules from Icarus Precision soon.

They talk about the handgun portion of their new modular pistol releases at the 4 minute mark in the video below.

Here is the PSA promo video. WOW! A ton of new stuff.

Here's two of my favorites right now:

https://www.kimberamerica.com/pistols/1911-ds

Probably the best stripped down 2011 style pistol on the market. MSRP for 9mm is $1,099,MSRP for the .45, 38 Super, and 5" 10mm is $1,299, and a 6" 10mm is $1,399 sticker.

And as mentioned in another thread from Sig:

https://www.sigsauer.com/firea...ls/p211-pistols.html

Because it's Sig, there's no pricing information, but I'd expect about $2k with no funky comp attachment. Also mentioned in another video is starting in February, Sig is ditching the plastic guide rod plug for a steel one so hopefully it won't shatter like the plastic one.

Lipsey's Exclusive:

S&W is also doing what they should have done in the first place:

https://www.smith-wesson.com/products/metal-hd

This should have been the alloy M&Ps last year. MSRP $1,149 - $1,299. Available in Tactical, Competition (with slide cuts and magwell) and optional thumb safety.

Also got this from Canik USA:

$899 sticker price which isn't bad considering this Canik is USA made and Radian Afterburners are $300+ by themselves.

Does shot show include safes, reloading, and target vendors? I’d love to see what’s new in those areas. Optics also.

Every item you stated was there in abundance, so much abundance it is overwhelming.

I would love to go there once. I don't have any credentials for attendance, so that's not happening.

basement or lower level of the Venetian was full of Chinese, Asian, and Eastern Euro vendors all making some tactical stuff that I would assume they would gladly put your name on ,

lots of vendors for targets, paper and steel, and carrier systems for ranges
lots of vendors for reloading, the usual like Dillon, Co-Ax, etc and even some for yuge operations, well beyond the avg reloader

many CNC and other machinery vendors,

we spend 2 days walking about and talking to some we needed to, and still only did about 80% of the show,

PSA/H&R did have a FAL (T48) on display,
but no STG44 like they did a few years go, nor the PE57's we were told were in the pipeline

saw one or 2 FG42 looking clones in 9mm

missed the semi SA 85 clones,

we stayed out of the military and LEO sections, so not sure what we missed there,

lots of MRAP's and similar armored up vehicles, as well as fancy campers and systems for pickups,

and it seems Winchester, Remington and Smith all are in the Liquor business now,

Remington was given out drinks on Tuesday, no one else (likker wise) did that I know of,

lots of beer flowing after 3 each day,

and a shitton of Turkish gun makers,
including Tisas,,, that had a booth, but not a single person out and no guns to show
