I purchased the ThruNite Catapult V6 flashlight through Amazon. I linked it for anyone interested. I don't have any personal pics of it as it's up at the lake place which was the reason for purchase. I needed a real light thrower for up there as we get a lot of critters that seem to get a little to close for comfort at night when we are out at the fire with the 4 year old grandson and my daughters dog. I'm trying to identify what I'm dealing with as we have nearly everything up there. I know we had a bobcat come within about 15 yards of us just in the bush line. That scream he let out was unmistakable. Never seen the wife and daughter run so fast!! Big Grin But we also have something else getting close on occasion.

Anyhow on to the light. Excellent light for the price. Well built, rechargeable and it turns the night into day. It throws a beam as well as a flood for 15 yards or so around you. Exactly what I needed. They claim over 700 yards of throw but I couldn't test that as we have too many trees around. I did light up a coon in a tree over 200 yards out the other night. And it lit him up to where there was no guessing as to what it was. The light fits great in my hand. A bit to big for pocket carry but it comes with a nylon holster and a lanyard with a D ring to attach to a belt or clip.

Easy to move through the different modes and it has a memory so the last mode it was in when shutoff it will return to that mode when turned on next. It does have a strobe mode that if you point at someone guaranteed they won't like it. If I have one complaint it would be the switch needs to be raised a bit more. If it's dark it's a bit difficult to find the switch by feel. I'm sure I'm leaving things out but the link has all the info. Bottom line this is seems to be a great light at the price point at least so far. See how the longevity of it is.
