Dang. My old girl passed after nearly 17 years late last summer and I haven't had the heart to think I could replace her yet. I haven't been able to even look at pictures of her yet. After watching this I may just have to visit the local shelter web site and see who they got that needs a good home. Smile

You can’t replace her. But you can begin a new relationship that will never supersede the former but will become equally precious.

For us mentally, it somewhat helped that we made sure that #2 was a different breed than #1. That further minimized the unnecessary tendency to compare.
