Pant belt fanny pack?

konata88Pant belt fanny pack?
Looking for a fanny pack to use for carry. But one that can accommodate my pants belt (removable pack belt).
I can use a fanny pack but the pack belt over my pants and perhaps my pants belt is cumbersome. I'd like to try attaching the fanny pack directly to my pants belt.
Don't want too big or too small. Just enough to fit a 19 (in a IWB holster) + 1 mag. Purpose made is good (ie - easy, grabbable zippers to facilitate fast draw).
I looked around and all I could find were packs w/ built-in, non-removable belts.

kkinaSomething along these lines what you're looking for?
(I use a belt pack from Maxpedition which is similar, but I think too small to fit a G19. It can attach directly to my pants belt.)

konata88Yes, in concept. But perhaps more rectangular shaped like a fanny pack - wider horizontally and minimal height (just enough to fit a 19) - maybe about 6"?

https://www.roundedgear.com/pr...aled-carry-sling-bagETA: whoops. I misremembered. That one has a belt built in. Sorry. You might ask Rounded if they’d make one with loops. New product opportunity.

kkinaThis one maybe. It looks like you can remove the supplied belt and clip it directly to your pants belt.

BB61I have two, one is navy blue and one is forest green. I like them as they don’t scream gun or tactical like black, khaki or camo bags do. I usually use them when I’m hiking or camping as I will pair them with a water bottle which really disguises the fact you are carrying a gun.

Chris17404Check out the Safepacker Holster from Wilderness Tactical. I use one for my G19 when hiking.

konata88Thanks guys! Good suggestions, I hadn't seen those yet. I'll take a closer look later but they may do the trick.

bendableI wore one for four years, it was made by Uncle Mike's.
Held my sp101 and two speed strips.
The belt loops were made of plastic and finally broke from the weight.
I took it to a cobbler to have leather loops sewn on ,
But he said that the nylon would rip away eventually .

V-TailAs previously mentioned, SafePacker is a good choice. They are available in an array of non-tactical colors, and sized to fit your handgun and reload. Mine is medium gray, carries my P245 loaded with an eight round P220 magazine, plus a spare eight round magazine.
It has D-rings for a detachable shoulder strap, and a very sturdy loop on the back that can be used to attach the SafePacker to a seat belt or a regular waist belt.

mrvmaxI like my Vertyx carry bag and they offer some like you're looking for.

konata88Thanks guys. I checked Vertx before and it seems like all come w/ a fixed belt; not usable w/ my pants belt. But I'll look again.
One thing I'm wondering is whether the packs like Moab or SafePacker will be taut against the body or just hang from the pants belt. Using the accompanying belt, the pack ends would be pulled against body as the belt is cinched. But if using my pants belt, there wouldn't be anything to pull the pack ends. So, it may just hang somewhat loosely against the body.
What's your experiences?
