A friend has been trying to get me to try the D'Or. Okay I'll give it a whirl. _________________________ OH, Bonnie McMurray!

Finally, a topic which I can provide some wisdom. The Portwood 21 was pricy at $180.00 years ago. It has continued to rise in price. At any price, it’s my favorite. Like a Cuban Punch cigar, the taste is refined. You will appreciate the taste when compared to the Doublewood Or other finishes.

would not care to elaborate |
don't splurge on booze much anymore, but my recollection is that any scotch 12 yrs or older is generally sublime

I know it gets said over and over but.... If you are a Costco member and the store near you sells alcohol check out their Kirkland Series Single Malt Scotch, for a while it was impossible to get your hands on, but that craze has backed off a bit. They have several options from 10 year to 24 year old Sherry Cask Finish Speyside. They also have a sampler called Tour of Scotland that comes with 4 different scotch blends, Islay, 10 Year Speyside, 12 Year Highland and a Lowland Single malt. Think I'll have to get one of those... Here is a good review of the Tour on Reddit. Link
