Folding Camp Chairs: What Are The Good Brands?
I’ve had 2 different Slumberjack models. They are quite robust. The director chair style is my favorite but not the collapsed form factor you want.

I bought this one for my wife and she won’t use anything else. She gets cold pretty easily and it is a heated chair. It comes with one battery but I have a usb adaptor for my power tool batteries so I bring extra batteries around and she stays nice and toasty.

I bought a Mac Sports Heavy Duty Camp Chair from Costco ($89), and liked it so much I bought two more. More comfortable than the director’s chair style, and it will hold up to 375 lbs. It sort of conforms to you whereas the director’s style tends to put pressure on my back where the backstrap hits me. It folds up and stores in a backpack style bag and unfolds/sets up easily.

Love GCI Rockers, their Comfort Pro model is our favorite. Rocker is a bit of a misnomer, it pivots with the assist of a gas strut, so does not require firm level ground to enjoy. Pros are they're strong (rated conservatively for 250 lbs), wide, durable, comfortable, high backed, ventilated, easy to fold/unfold, easy to exist, the rocking action works very well, and it's a great value. Cons are it feels heavier than it's 11 lbs., the attached shoulder strap doesn't balance the carry well, and it doesn't come with a bag which protects the chair and aids with comfortable carry. CGI sold a very high quality wide mouth waterproof heavy duty bag with bungee closure that makes it easier to carry and protects the chair well. Well worth the additional $15, but it's out of stock right now.

We use them for a bunch of different activities, but the bigest are multi-day music festivals. They'll get used continuously for 3 days in a row because in a group of 15 friends and family, our chairs are the ones they choose to sit in first. So we bought some for Christmas gifts so this year we might get to sit in our own chairs.

OK, as an old Airstreamer, I can tell you that Zip Dee makes some of the finest outside folding chairs in the world. The ones pictured below are circa: 1971 and still work fantastic. Perhaps not what you're looking for, but comfortable and durable.
