At military Commissaries, there are signs indicating baggers work for tips only. They get no pay. They are invariably nice and helpful be they youngsters or retirees, and yes, they'll take your cart of groceries out to your vehicle and load it for you. I appreciate them. They earn the tips they get.

I’ve never agreed with no tipping policies. I’ve been known to tell some kid they dropped some money. At that point they usually smile and say thank you.
