My brother is trying to determine if the fuel pump (in the gasoline tank) for a 2002 Chevy Express 2500 5.7L CNG (bi-fuel?). The engine runs on either gasoline or CNG. He wants to replace the gasoline fuel pump, but can't find a part number. I'm assuming the likes of Rockauto or Napa doesn't account for the CNG, hence he's stumped. So can we just spec out the stock fuel pump? I'm assuming the fuel management device which isolates the gasoline system also shuts off power to the fuel pump. P229

I did find a GM diagram. It allows me to select bifuel and it appears to be a "normal" fuel pump similar to the Napa part noted above. P229

Same pump came up if gas or biofuel was selected. CNG doesn't need a pump. It's under regulated pressure.
