I have heard of this before but got more interested after watching this video. If you are using Meshtastic, let me know what you are using and what you have set up. Being in a hurricane prone area, this would be a good emergency comm system to have.

I'm in the process of getting the components together to put together a fairly low-cost starter kit.

So far, I have the Maker Focus ESP32 LoRa V3 development board, a case, battery and a few different antennas.

Now I just need to make some time to assemble it and get it up and running. I'll try to check back in if I get it going any time soon.
