And making them accessible to club members. I was volunteered to run our gun club website. I have self taught myself to do a lot of editing and layouts. But a couple things elude me. 1. Secure archiving of club board minutes and newsletters. Google Drive has been used long before I got the task to store minutes in pdf form, and the drive page address https address is linked on a webpage button (Weebly BTW). Access is only by accepted members. Is this good? Is this secure? Same thing for newsletters. But minutes are the main question. 2. Also what is the best way to link a google calendar on a website button. Just a copied link. Embed somehow? I am not sure how to embed. Alternatives? Too many unknowns to give you any solid answers. 1. Google Drive is fine but it's depends on who has what access. Are they using things like 2 factor authentication. 2. What is your site built in? How is it hosted? Linking a calendar seems trivial but hard to give you any answer without knowing what it's built on. I haven't done web dev for a while, but I'm sure with some more info there are plenty of people here that do. "We've done four already, but now we're steady..." | |||

You can embed a Google Calendar. https://support.google.com/cal...r/answer/41207?hl=en The above is most easily done when the calendar is associated with a free Gmail account. For one club I support, we use a free Gmail account and embed the calendar... https://windsormarksmen.org/calendar-of-events/ The above assumes Weebly allows you to embed the iframe / HTML code. Not sure if they do. When it comes to the security of documents like PDFs, you need to be able to manage access for individuals. If using Google Drive, those who need access must have a GMail account, plus you need to invite them to have access individually. You can do this at the folder level, so you do not have to do it for each document. My guess is Weebly can not act as a document management application. (I know nothing about the platform.) But even if it does, every user would need a username and password to access the documents. You can, and I have done this with WordPress, but again, everyone needs a username and password, and someone has to manage that.
