KelTec has a new program where you can login, buy the gun of your choice, pay them direct, and they will ship it to the FFL of your choice.
Interesting program, perhaps not enough KT dealers are stocking their items, and they have heard from people they are missing out on sales.
Prices so far are full retail, so other than someone who really wants a KSG and lives where the dealers don't stock it, appears you'd pay more than market.
Interesting concept though, any FFL's here participate in the program, do they share revenue, or do you just get to charge your FFL fee.
This MAY be happening with local gun maker Bond Arms now. Years ago I contacted them since they were local wanting to purchase direct and they denied my request.
Just a few days ago they were advertising on the TV about direct sales. Nice TV ad about their products with pricing.

A lot of gun shops seem to turn up their nose at KT
I’ve owned five of them now over the years and think they’re great guns. Who cares if they’re not as finely finished as other guns, they’re always gone BANG for me every time.

^^^^ Kel-Tec can do whatever they want, but I’m speaking from the point of view of the customer. Pretty sure most, if not all, of them buy their guns because they are inexpensive. So, really there’s no point of suddenly paying more just to buy factory direct.

I agree. They want way too much compared to other venues and I don't see the benefit of buying direct.
On a side note, sadly some platforms don't last as they change them constantly. I also have many of them because I like their innovation, rifles/shotguns I mean.
Daniel Defense sells Suppressors and SBR's direct to consumers. So, price is not necessarily a factor. I think DD started this program with all their rifles and got a lot of pushback from their channel partners.
