Guns.Com Advice
Curious if anyone has any advice .
I’ve been searching for almost 40 years for a particular 92F trade in and to my surprise Guns.Com has one listed. Granted, it’s listed way above what I was hoping to pay for one. There is an “offer” tab so I started offering at 800 and was immediately met with the “does not reach minimum”. I went up to 1200 and still getting this. He has it listed for near $1700. Is there anyway to locate the seller on guns.com so I can contact them directly? I tried to leave them a message on the Q and A section to no avail. Any advice would be appreciated.

On a side note, has anyone purchased from Guns.Com

These are consignment guns. Guns.com is not going to let you cut the middleman (i.e, them) out.

So, they set a high BIN, with a high acceptable offer. If it sits there forever unsold, they might have to lower it.

A lot of FFLs list guns for sale on Guns.com. If Guns.com listed seller info, I could check out a lot of guns locally that I find on their site, but as Q/12131 mentioned, that would cut out the middleman and Guns.com's fees. ebay does the same thing.

This is something I find odd about Gunbroker. Many users there will contact the seller directly, then take their transactions offsite, which means GB loses out on their cut of the sales.

I’ve purchased a few guns from guns.com. All transactions very smooth and shipping is very quick. I get a lot of emails from the auctions they are having but have never bought anything bidding on a gun. I have to believe Q is right.

Bought two guns from them recently. Fast shipping and very smooth transactions. They have become my first stop instead of Gunbroker when looking for anything. They also offer a Veteran discount on gun purchases.

Well, considering OP offer them up to $1200, it's got to be something more than just a garden-variety 92F. Only OP knows how special it is. He's "been searching for almost 40 years for a particular 92F trade in"...

Stamped NOPD. I’m from there and retired.only a very small # of these duty guns made their way to the civilian market. You’re right and that it really holds no monetary value and only really important to others beyond myself. You can google “NOPD Beretta” and it’s under images for a quick look at a few
