Looking to purchase one. The SL2 FWD model with a V6 without a sunroof. Other than just a few it seems to have most of the more pricey top Denali model options. Seems to get rave reviews online just wondering about real road experience. And real MPG and problems etc.

We have the '19 Denali AWD Acadia. About 8,000 troublefree miles, great interior. Very quiet on the road, maybe 24-26 mpg on the highway. Logic behind the electronic menus a bit perverted, but we got used to it.

Good to hear. hopefully with out the added weight the SL2 will get even better mileage. We test drove a Denali and I figure about a 2 yr learning curve on the electronics. Wink

Could you list a few examples to why? Just curious, our family has 2 Acadia's from 2014 & 2015 and they have been great so far.

We rented one in Florida last spring. It was OK. My point is that with these in the rental fleets, there should be lots of them slightly used with fairly low miles on them.

I found these at a reputable used car location in Salt Lake.

Those are previous generation models. I know many people who have them long teem and love them.

Current model is a clean sheet redesign. More bells and whistles (more to go wrong IMO), more $$$ but not as good quality wise. The launch was the worst I have seen in over 2 decades at GM (Mgmt gave themselves an award for it. Not kidding). Lots of supplier quality issues, "cost cutting" measures, slashing head count and now two years of forced OT.

Full disclosure: I no longer buy GM products.

Granted it was a few model years ago, but another forum member contacted me via e-mail when I was shopping. He also had extensive first hand knowledge on the build/repair side and expressed a similar opinion.

We use to buy GM for farm small trucks and Olds and Caddies for personal use. We left GM several years ago for various component issues and accelerated depreciation. Ram and Ford for pickups and Toyota and Lexus for personal vehicles have been more reliable with better trade in value .

What about the Yukon? Similar sentiments?

Yukon is a whole different platform. Built in a different facility. Arlington, TX maybe, not sure.

I must have been asleep at the switch yesterday. Acadia production moved to TN. I'm buildingthe Chevy and Buick versions.
Bad news is, my friends who have worked in both plants say they are equally fucked up.

We have a 2018 Traverse, bought in Dec 2017. First year seemed great but has been in for numerous electronics problems 7 times this calendar year.

Guess I should have read these before I purchased after a long day of looking at other similar equipped Brands. Could not deal at all with Subaru,Nissan and worst was the Toyota sweat shop Guys that were literally running about and yelling a lot. And it did not turn out well when the wife lost her shit when we could not get a price after we said we were not buying right this minute. They literally told us if we were not ready to deal well why were we there...Yep I wound up with a Denali Lots of bells and new whistles and due to all the electronics and as I keep a car for a long time I bought the 3 yr extension of bumper to bumper coverage at 6 or 7 bucks a month charge so all the electronics are covered for 6 yr's. And got 8 + grand of off the sticker.
