Indeed we will. Thank you for always playing music and standing up for this country.

Thank you, Charlie Daniels, not just for your music and sharing your talent with us. Thank you for being a Patriot when being a Patriot wasn't "cool". Rest in peace.

The man was a story teller, and no flash in the pan. Not only could he hold a man's attention, but that man remembered him thirty years down the road. 83 years old? No, that can't be right. Why, it was just yesterday...
But some things are timeless, and Charlie Daniels work will outlive him for a long while yet.
A man once asked John Denver for his Autograph, came the reply, "You already have it. It's in my songs."
So long as Charlie Daniel's work remains, so will he.

RIP Charlie.

The fiddle in my avatar was first owned by a CDB band member, and was on stage with Mr. Daniels. I've seen him a couple of times, including at the Ryman.
I'm certain I saw them at the NY State Fair in Syracuse, around 1979.

The devil has laid that golden fiddle on the ground at Charlie’s feet.

RIP Charlie. I spent a lot of Friday and Saturday nights back in the mid 70’s enjoying his music beside a bonfire with friends. We outgrew those times, never outgrew his music. He was one of a kind.

Both Charlie Daniels and Ennio Morricone in one day - have to wonder what the result of a collaboration between them would be like.

Saw him 10 or 15 years back - one heckuva show! Our loss, Heaven's gain! See you on the other side, Charlie!

Co-worker saw him live years ago. At the end of the outdoor concert he bashed his fiddle to bits
I always wondered if that was a regular thing or if he was just pissed off at it for some reason
He will indeed be missed.
Endeavor to persevere.
