Even IF I had the money, I could buy a flying P-51 Mustang AND a Spitfire, with lots of cash left over to operate them. . .

You'd also be slower in the Mustang and Spitfire. Bugatti's are the bleeding edge of what's possible as opposed to the tuner trash you're lumping this car into.

I don't think so. Both of those airplanes were in the 400 mph neighborhood.

This is the 'Mustang and Spitfire' I had in mind.

It's nice but all of the cars like that, look the same.I would rather have a 1968 Charger or '70 Cuda.

Mustang speed record is 470mph. Spitfire is 369mph. Fuel mileage is probably about the same, though. Razz

There were quite a few models / variations. The final model, Mark 24, had a top speed of 454 mph (395 knots).

Little miscommunication there. Lol

I’m with you. Maybe buy a P40 in Flying Tiger getup for when I was feeling a little slow.

Once again, anything a Saudi oil prince would drive is probably something I don’t want.

Beautiful car but where in the world can you drive it anywhere close to its potential?

Mrs. Orcutt's driveway, well at least you could a few years ago.

And since Bugatti hired the guy that founded Rimac, it'll be interesting if he can build a 280mph electric car with a longer range than the Chiron at full throttle.
