I recently went on my first trip on a small plane like that. Woahhh ..... It's was like being in a flying aluminum can ....

The airplane in the video was plastic, not aluminum.

The pilot and student apparently walked away from the "landing". Not knowing what was going on in the cockpit, I'd have to call the landing a resounding success. Possibly a heroic one.

Any landing you can walk away from is a good one. Any landing you can walk away from and reuse the airplane without major maintenance is a great one. That said, where the heck was the instructor? Yeah, you gotta let them make mistakes and figure out how to fix them, but not to the making a great landing is in question. I can’t get over the amount of bank so close to the ground. Maybe they were avoiding a light standard, but that should have been care of before getting that low. Glad they survived it. Hope the CFI learned something.

That was close. I don't know about you guys but the f.d. would have a hard time removing my seat from my buttocks. The pucker factor on that would be huge.
