We gave this serious though and spoke to a friend that is a Vet, and another friend that is a trainer. We decided to go for it.

I think I passed the phone interview today and hope to go get her this weekend.

Since the dogs were together until they were 14 months old there is a good chance they will remember each other to a certain extent. Hope they like each other. Big Grin

This was the litter when we picked him up:

Fantastic, Jeff.

I didn't want to give an opinion on FB or here, as I knew you would know better than I how Lucy would handle a new member.

I am so happy to see you chose to bring her into your pack, as I see how deeply you care for your pets.

So what was their reaction when they met? Did they seem to recognize each other after all these years?

Does she like blueberries? Big Grin

Good memory! :+)

He definitely remembered her and the farm. He went nuts. He also saw his mother. She remembered him, he didn't care.

She (Greta) is just being very cautious, trying to figure things out. She is very smart and totally focused on people. I believe Sandy now has here own velcro dog.

She doesn't like toys, treats or the crate yet.

We are giving her a day off then we will start training tomorrow. She doesn't know her name yet, even through it has always been her name.

Thank you Michael!

Only day one but she is fitting in perfectly so far. It's amazing how much they are alike. They have the same mannerisms...sit the same, sleep the same, snore the same, pretty cool to see.

Buddy looks like he is asking if she is staying.

I'm glad you decided to take her.

If you hadn't, I would have strongly considered it, as I'm currently without my dogs, and it is killing me.

It looks like the pack is adjusting. I think the older dog will be a good influence on the younger one, and will keep her in line. Even having a "middle" dog will help as well as it can do both roles.

Fine looking pups you have there.
