IMO this really doesn't have to be that complicated. I've been dealing with XM since 2005. I have had no problems in all that time. I have a deal I renew every year, similar to if not exactly the deal detailed above. It's about 5.99 per month. Every year I ask for the promo again. I refuse to accept anything else. Sometimes I need to ask for a supervisor, but I always get the promo deal. I specify the one-year term and specifically set a non-renew request. They have never auto-renewed me, never played games with me. I set a reminder in my phone calendar before the expiration date and call to renew. It's that simple- for me, at least. Just set a reminder, and don't disregard it. There's no need (IMO again) to do anything further than that. I do the same for similar things- Direct TV promotions, for example. Sometimes I get offers for a free 3 month movie package. I'll take it, set a reminder, call at that time and cancel or ask if there's another promo. Really quite simple if you don't make it less so. ____________ Μολὼν Λαβέ 01 03 04 14 16 18 | |||
