Means nothing to me but is apparently a big deal to some as crowd was reported to be 180,000 last year.

Louder Than Life is ready to rock Louisville in September. Here's a list of who is coming

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Mötley Crüe, Korn, Slipknot and Slayer will headline the 2024 Louder Than Life rock music festival in Louisville.

After bringing a record 180,000 people for a long weekend of rock music in September 2023, the lineup for Louder Than Life's 10th edition was released Wednesday with a star-studded cast of live music over four nights.

On top of the four headliners, Breaking Benjamin, Evanescence, Disturbed, Mastadon, Judas Priest and Dropkick Murphys join a lengthy list of acts.

Louder Than Life is set to take over the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Exposition Center from Sept. 26-29. Last year, the rock music festival brought people to Louisville from all 50 states and 22 countries to see Green Day, Foo Fighters, Tool, Pantera, Avenged Sevenfold and Weezer.

The festival happens the weekend after the annual Bourbon & Beyond music festival, which runs from Sept. 19-22. This year's lineup for Bourbon & Beyond was released nearly a month ago, and includes headliners like Zach Bryan, Dave Matthews Band, Tyler Childers, Neil Young, Beck, The National, My Morning Jacket and The War on Drugs.

Other bands and artists include Whiskey Myers, Cody Jinks, Tedeschi, Trucks Band, Black Pumas, The Beach Boys, Mt. Joy, Fleet Foxes, Young the Giant, Maren Morris, The Head and the Heart, Teddy Swims and Melissa Etheridge.

Too bad no Ozzy...

Hmm Slayer retired. Maybe a comeback tour?

I can’t see Motley Crue as a headliner over Disturbed and Priest.

These go to eleven.

The venue is fantastic - acres of concrete and asphalt with interstate nearby. Woodstock it ain't.
