Sigforum friends, I have been wearing Asolo boots for a few years now. They have never let me down. Absolutely fantastic boots. Well built, long lasting, protective, and comfortable. My usual boot is the Drifter EVO GV. They have a new boot that looks to be almost exactly the same, with a few upgrades, and with a very nice discount.

I’m not sure if it’s a new product discount, or if it’s a stimulate business discount. Either way, 40% off is pretty awesome.

If you order a pair, pay close attention to the size. It defaults to UK sizing and you have to change it to US.

Anyways, Asolo comes with my recommendation as it is all I have worn for quite some time now.

40% off discount code is: SPRING

That's better than REI 30%! I have worn a pair of Fugitives for little over a year and it is time for a new pair.

Wonder what shipping will be?

Shipping was 13 euro ~$15. Should arrive Thursday or Friday.

As far as I can tell, these are the same boots as the Drifter, just 27 grams lighter. Looks like a little less insulation.

I’ll update when they arrive.

Not in the market currently but I can attest to Asolo quality. For almost 20 years, I've been wearing Asolo boots exclusively, specifically the TPS 520 GV model. They are extremely well made and are the most comfortable footwear I have ever worn.

Great footwear! The village of Asolo is nearby, and locals there pointed me to the factory to get some new boots after I tore up some no names in the Dolomites.

A long way to travel (especially right now), but the region, and village of Asolo is spectacular. Nice factory tour too!

They're made for midgets!

I don't see any listed with sizes made for feet like mine.

I'd be cautious on this site until proven otherwise.
This is an Italian site and doesn't seem to recognize that you are in the USA. They want you to log in and put CC info in. There is a Asolo USA site (see below) that is different than this one and I didn't see the same info there.
There is no doubt bargains are around now and in the future with products backing up but this one has my radar going off. Also a lot of scammers taking advantage too.

When I checked earlier this morning they had them up to 13.5 which is almost big enough for my hooves.

I ordered from them and have had no issues at all.

I messed up the size when I ordered and contacted their customer service via phone. No issues and they updated the order to send out the correct item. I also ordered my last pair directly from Asolo Italy.

I wouldn't direct my fellow forum members to a website that I didn't trust 100%.

I take a EEE width. Like other European footwear I've got to guess these run narrow? Can anyone comment? Thanks.

I finally placed my order after several tries, initial attempts to submit were rejected because my bank kept flagging it as fraud activity since the store is in Italy.

50 years ago I wanted to move to Alaska.
Being young and impulsive I obtained 3 things to prepare for a move.
1. Phone books for Anchorage, Fairbanks.
2. A Dan Wesson 44 mag.
3. A pair of Asolo boots.

Don't know where the phone books ever went.
I sold and then more recently re-placed the Dan Wesson 44 Mag.
STILL have the Asolo boots, resoled them once.

Another good site for Asolo boots is Sierra Trading Post. Unfortunately they have decided to close both brick and mortar AND online until conditions improve. You can still browse models and sizes here if you wish.

The Drifter runs wide. Quite a bit more so than the Fugitive. Since this boot is an upgrade of the Drifter, I would think that it runs wider, as it is built on the same last.
Not sure if they are EEE wife though.

UPDATE:
The boots I ordered arrived today via Fed Ex.
They fit as expected, no problems of any kind.

They appear to be top-quality footwear.

Thanks to Bean for letting us know about the 40% off discount. That makes these boots a serious bargain.
