I know there are lots of Toyota fans on the Forum and I am no exception. Five 4Runners, a Tacoma, Camry, all great experiences. Headed into retirement I wanted to this the herd and I settled on this 2023 Tacoma TRD Sport. Low miles, Toyota Gold CPO. Carfax shows the original owner changing the oil every 4,000 miles?!? Already had the running boards and the Toyota tonneau cover. And I LOVE white vehicles.

Extended warranty and new car rates are the high points. The dealer I bought off of sold it to the original owner and they were the only one to service it. He traded it in on a Tundra.

That's a nice looking truck and the previous owner having the oil changed every 4K instead of 8-10K most do anymore is big. The TRD Sport was available with a manual transmission, does it have that or auto?

I like white vehicles because they're visible to others, don't get so hot as dark ones, and don't show dust and water spots.

No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

I've had three Toyo trucks.

Auto only. If it was a stick I never would have gotten it from the wife.

Congrats, I love my Taco, a 23 TRDOR. I wish you many trouble-free miles. Change your oil every 5,000 miles - Toyota recommends 10,000 but they are smoking crack.

I have always been a Chevy truck person and my current truck I bought new back in 2002 when they made them right. Hell, if someone ran a carfax report they would think I didn’t take care of it as I do all my own work.

That said, I have 9 years to retirement and want my current truck to last as long as possible and then buy a new one in time to pay off before I retire so I don’t have a truck payment. I have never driven one but I like the look of the Toyota Tacoma and Tundras and hear nothing but good things about them. I am thinking that a Tundra may be what I buy next. My wife and I plan to buy an RV when we retire to travel so I need something capable of towing it.

You got a great looking truck BTW.

Yeah no way I would go 10K. I use Mobile 1 fully synthetic high mileage and change mine every 5K.

My work take home car is a Toyota Camry and I really like it, and it drives me nuts to have to follow the scheduled maintenance since the state pays for it. I take care of my work car like it is my own, but I would actually get into trouble if I did any of my own maintenance on it.

Badass truck. It’s the last of the good looking Tacomas before they became a full size, Chevy Silverado look alike.

Congratulations on a fantastic truck!

No doubt!

I have a friend who has one, and I remind him of that fact often.

Nice truck SB!

Stormin, I’ve had two Tundras. An ‘03 and my current ‘17. (Last year before the nanny shit)
Neither would wow you with the gas mileage…right now the computer is telling me I’m getting 17.5 mpg with the AC on.
Buy a Taco for the near indestructible drive train, buy a Tundra for full size and a nearly indestructible drive train.
