I guess he sells shoes mostly but I heard a blurb about him donating 5 Million to stop gun violance.

The radio guy talked about him Passing some bill(s) , but did not in any way elaborate to the bills content.

after reading 30 google hits ,
I can't find out what kind of plan he has to
get the shootings stopped.

do you know or have you heard about this guy and or his master plan ?

Never heard of him myself... but I'm sure passing some bills will stop gun violence, since guns are so violent; I know mine are. <sarcasm> Roll Eyes Wink

Click the link. It's right on the first page. Do you support universal background checks (that being the camel's nose under the tent)?

Basically it's an online shoe store trying to butt into the gun control debate.

Search for his attendance on the Jimmy Fallen show recently. YouTube.

He says he started this because of the Thousand Oaks shooting. When it happened his wife called him and said she was scared and not sending kids to school that day. He said he got upset and wanted to do something. So he started his anti gun campaign. As far as I know he has no direct involvement with this particular shooting incident he just was upset because his wife was scared over it.

What I just can’t understand is why do successful companies want to alienate themselves from their largest potential customer base by going politics. Make donations on the side and leave your business out of it. He should just stick with giving away shoes.

Idiots

All you need to know:
Photo on his website of him pressing the flesh with Hillary.
He was a "contestant" on The Amazing Race. Which was a game to see who could catch a plane faster. Which was not a race. Or amazing.

When someone uses the term "gun violence", they're either a clueless, mindless sheep, or they have an agenda. There is no such thing as "gun violence". There's just violence.

The attack on guns isn’t about protecting the average person. It’s about protecting the 1% at the top. Historically, the elite have an easier time of subjugating when the victims lack the ability to govern themselves. This Mycoskie guy is just another useful idiot for the left.

IMO, it's free ad space, knowing that the leftist media will run with the story nation wide.

As I see it, the loss of some customers will be offset by attracting new buyers.

Would be a shame if someone swapped out the text on their form and used it to send a pro gun message instead.

"The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people."
"Odd," said Arthur, "I thought you said it was a democracy."
"I did," said Ford, "it is."
"So," said Arthur, hoping he wasn't sounding ridiculously obtuse, "why don't the people get rid of the lizards?"
"It honestly doesn't occur to them. They've all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they've voted in more or less approximates the government they want."
"You mean they actually vote for the lizards."
"Oh yes," said Ford with a shrug, "of course."
"But," said Arthur, going for the big one again, "why?"
"Because if they didn't vote for a lizard, then the wrong lizard might get in."

Just looking at their men's shoes, gun owners will no be his largest customer base.

In point of fact, I think this is a replay of the Nike / Kapernick campaign. The company looks at their preferred customer demographic, finds a political issue that resonates with that demographic, and pushes it.

Either that or the CEO just decided to go full retard. We've never seen that before.

Apparently, his company has done some really good private enterprise altruistic charity work:

Then, he just had to dabble in gun confiscation. Sheesh.

Toms Shoes are very fashionable and can be found in most footwear locations..they go well with your Patagonia jkt/vest Roll Eyes . While altruistic and well intentioned business model, the shoes are POS. If I wanted zero-support, zero-protection, zero padding under foot, I'd wear a pair of Vans...which is exactly what they are. By coming up with a generous charity plan and getting a shit ton of fashion models to wear his shoes, he got all the fashion lemmings to buy his product. Trickle-down effect, every girl who wants to be hip and cool, regardless of socio-economic status, is now wearing a pair of Toms. McKoskie's bio reads like a stereotypical trust-funder, who's been told the world is his oyster, go forth and do great things, very nauseating. For a guy who grew up in Texas, you'd have thought a level of firearm understanding would've seeped into his brain...

Truth!!! Whenever I hear that term repeatedly on TV or a NetFlix show, I usually end up going into a verbal rant as it's current one of by BIGGEST pet peeves! My wife and daughter look at me like I've lost it... and well, I HAVE lost it, at the gullible sheep that eat this shit up and spew it right back out!!! Mad
