The Ice Cream Man

I have a number of locations, with broadband connections, so I should be able to provide my own redundancy.

What I would like, is the ability to sync to a local drive, which should be much faster/not internet dependent, and have that back up to a cloud once a day.

Any suggestions?

I’d also like to hire someone to set up blackberry messenger for us.

It’s quite reasonable, abd is supposed to be quite secure.

Sounds like DropBox. Client software is loaded on each PC/Mac you wish to sync, the the folder structure and files you place in the DropBox drive is replicated in the cloud, and on any other PCs/Macs you load that sync software on (and then also log into your account on DB of course). Be sure to use the two factor auth, and your good to go.

TrueNAS and Syncthing. Also look up the "3-2-1 backup rule".
