dogmushZip Stitch -- First Aid Kit item. Anyone have experience?
I don't see that closing anything better or faster than Steri-Strips or Dermabond would. It's neat, but not worth what they want for it, and kinda limited in application.

Chris42Had occasions when teaching metal shop to need bandaids. Naturally the first aid box hadn’t been restocked.
Duct tape and paper towels. Very effective. Could be tight like a zip stitch. Actually more durable than bandaids.

SBrooksIf it's stopped bleeding and dry - I would just cover it with the large bandage and keep going.
Why the need to "close" the wound if it's already clotted and cleaned up ?
And if closing the wound is needed, then some tape or bandaid or butterfly seems like it would work fine...

If you're having trouble getting an adhesive bandage, butteryfly closure, or tape to stick to the skin, apply Tincture of Benzoin to the skin beforehand. It makes the adhesive adhere much better.
I carry single-use ampules in my first aid kits.

Thanks for the tip. I usually use cheap flex-fabric bandaids and superglue the tabs. This looks like a needed addition to my first aid kits.
