Firefox choked on the first page of this thread twice. Brave handled it all just fine.

Anyone know why?

The Undisputed Truth came out with the song months before the Temptations. Great version, but I prefer the Temp's groove and epic treatment of the song.

Great tune! Have had conversations with clients and when asking about their family life had them use the phrase to describe their father. The song title has become part of the nations jargon.

Takes me wayyyy back! Was really into the Temptations/Four Tops/Smokey/Jr. Walker sounds in the early 70's, Moved on to other genres by the time the Jacksons came along, but can still "dig" the older stuff.

The late 60's and the 70's were the epitome of music IMO.

Used to also love what's been called East Bay Grease.
